We celebrated Ryu's 1st birthday December 5th. He had a snickerdoodle cupcake (1 of the 6 I bought at our hospital's Arts and Crafts show - John and I gobbled up the rest.
I think he actually ate some of the cupcake, but most of it ended up on the floor or on his tray.
He had a few visitors a couple days later (our neighbors with their two little girls). They love to come over and play with him. They entertained him for about an hour. They must have exhausted him because he slept very well that night!
He had his one year doctor's visit the next week. He's now 22 lbs 4 oz and 30 3/4 in! Unfortunately, he had lots of shots at this visit....he was SO not happy about those. He seemed fine after leaving the doctor's office and the rest of the day, so the shots didn't seem to make him feel bad. His next apt is at 15 months.
And here he is ready for his first day of hunting! Actually, he hasn't been out yet, but John is prepared for the day with this outfit.
Looked like a very cute birthday cupcake. Hard to believe he is a year already.
