Yorktown

Ryu went on his first "vacation" over the Memorial Day weekend. We spent most of the long weekend in Yorktown with my parents. We arrived late Friday evening and headed right to dinner.

After breakfast on Saturday at our B&B, John headed to the beach/pier for some fishing and my parents, Ryu and I checked out some of the historical sites in the area. Patrick and Hayley joined us that afternoon for lunch, a walk along the beach, and a combined birthday celebration for John and Patrick.

Ryu dipped his toes in the water and was quite excited about the waves. We started taking video too late and missed his cute reaction, though. Here he is shortly afterwards in his way too big sunhat.

I also need to note that Ryu had his first trip to Bass Pro Shops over the long weekend (the first of many I'm sure). He checked out the fish, "rode" in a boat, "rode" a four-wheeler and enjoyed standing in this bucket :)
